Keep your lips happy with new ChapStick Active 2 in 1 Lip Balm that moisturizes and protects from the sun. Whether you are skiing on a snowy mountain or playing volleyball on the beach, mineral based SPF 25 provides sun protection you can see by creating a physical barrier to help protect your lips from UVA/UVB rays. Plus, it helps moisturize your lips with nourishing shea butter, aloe, and vitamin E. Our formulation is also reef friendly with Zinc Oxide and free from parabens, phthalates, and preservatives (1). With three lip balms per pack, you can hand these out to friends and family so they can have a fun day enjoying various outdoor activities. Each 0.15-ounce lip moisturizer is also perfect for stashing in purses, backpacks and desk drawers. (1) Mineral based sunscreen may leave a white cast due to zinc oxide.

Directions
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure, reapply at least every 2 hours, use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating, children under 6 months of age: Ask a doctor, Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats and sunglasses

ChapStick® should be stored at room temperature, between 68°F and 77°F (20°C and 25°C).

The product forms a barrier to prevent moisture loss and to protect lips from the drying effects of cold weather and wind, which may cause chapping. It also softens the skin to restore suppleness to the lips.

The process of manufacturing ChapStick® is similar to following a recipe. A big blender mixes the heated ingredients of ChapStick®. The color and flavor are added, and then the warm mixture is poured into containers. Most of the process is mechanical.
